I come to this Coffee Club about once a fortnight. While the coffee is fine, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff rarely smile or make an effort to engage, and the atmosphere feels cold and unwelcoming. Coffees are often placed on the table without saying which is which, as if the goal is to make the interaction as brief as possible. It’s disappointing, because good coffee deserves good service.
The young chubby waitress looks she is forced to work there - from taking order at the counter to bringing coffee to the table - no smile, lips clenching, expressionless, and almost slamming the coffee on the table, not a word of “hello” or “thanks”. Just a weird attitude.
