Considering I usually go to the coffee club as it's the 'safe' option - decent food, decent coffee and prompt service, this was the total opposite. While the poor young bloke serving us was clearly new so can be excused for being very average, no one in the shop was bothering to train him and just left him to his own devices. Then the blender was broken so we agreed to have iced chocolates which was fun, but the ice chocolates came out weak, tasteless and the cream on top tastes like it was very almost off. Absolutely terrible. Got there and all the tables were filthy, we managed to find a slightly clean one and decided to excuse the fact it was partly covered in ants. We waiting to be served, and we were approached by a girl who took our order and then left shortly after. After half an hour of waiting we were approached again by a different girl who had been there the whole time, asking if we wish to order. Overpriced and horrible food. Had to wait for 15 mins between my meal and my partners meal. How long does it take to make a caesar salad. Air-conditioning was broken and staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. Never eat here

Upon arriving at Coffee Club Toowong (a well known reputable restaurant) My friends and I ordered 6 dishes and 6 orange juices before sitting down at one of the out door tables. That of which was covered in dust and dirt. Half an hour we sat waiting for our glasses of Orange juice. An hour later, we received two meals only. At this point we are all quite frustrated. Shocking ! The proprietor doesn't speak English to a standard that can be communicated with the greater public. We went in there after a funeral as a group wanting some breakfast. This place has employed one young lad who was trying his utmost to please customers yet he was kitchen hand and waiter at the same time. When I asked why it was that we only got half our orders we were told it was because the boy had not inout all the orders .
