Not a great experience at Coffee Club Southland this morning. I asked to swap an item on the Big Breakfast (something I’ve done at other Coffee Club locations without issue, and even at this exact store previously). Today they refused, even though the items I wanted to swap were the exact same price. I also added a side of hollandaise sauce, it came out in a paper container not even hot. Getting the toasted mushroom sandwich mum only ate half but $18 .00 for the whole thing is a bit poor when given potato crisps on the plate … not happy and poor being the coffee club ….
I had a very disappointing experience at this café this morning. I ordered a small cappuccino with almond milk. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted like plain milk – there was no coffee flavor at all. I politely mentioned this to the girl who served me, but she responded in an unfriendly and dismissive manner. She told me that next time I should order an extra small cup instead. Their latte and cappuccinos are awful—do they even put coffee in them? It just tastes like warm milk. Either they're saving on coffee, or they don't know how to make a proper cappuccino.
