Dr. Schwer has been a lifesaver for me, he's a great guy. Unfortunately, my insurance changed and Couer Group is out of my network so it is rather expensive now, but they are very flexible with scheduling. I'll keep coming back as long as I can keep affording it.
I was a patient here a few months ago and it was the most unhelpful treatment experience of my life. I was struggling with addiction at the time and would miss appointments which they charge $100 or $200 for missing. Then came the insurance issue. I gave them all my insurance information from United Healthcare and they couldn’t verify it once. I told them to give me a call if there was an issue and they never did, so I assumed it was fine. Dr. Coy is FANTASTIC.
Similar to what others have stated, the office staff here, specifically the blonde secretary with the super curly hair, goes out of their way to be nasty and rude. She made me cry my first time there, which was already an emotional experience, for being five minutes late (because I was driving up from Lincoln and couldn’t find the building my first time there). I can’t imagine treating others like that in a professional environment, let alone a psychiatric facility
This office is very Difficult to work with! The Coeur Group says they accept Aetna but do not clearly communicate that in fact they don’t for some peoples plans . They seemingly provide great service but do a very poor job confirming if an insurance plan is accepted , even with all the corresponding information. They also then run the bill up and expect a payment. They claim to help but do a very poor job at this . This office is very shady at the least .
