Shoutout to the entire team at James Rafferty Agency for 10/10 customer service. They take care of my insurance and investment needs and I am never disappointed
As with others in the last couple of years, I have found this office to be nearly unreachable. You'll be piped into a phone line and end up speaking to an overseas agent who does not understand your context. The times that I've so desperately needed local service have required me to show up physically at their office unannounced without an appointment. It's a shame, the service used to be impeccable.
I had an auto and home insurance (bundle) with this company from September 2023, everything went well when selling me the insurance, now that I was notified that they will increase my car policy NOBODY answers the phone. Two weeks ago I received a call indicating that my car insurance (two cars) will be increased in more than $100 per month due to my driver experience in Ontario, Canada (years of G Full). To say dealing with James Rafferty Agency was a pleasure would be an understatement. The agent (Jasmin) that helped me was very knowledgeable and personable; the quote was very prompt and a great deal. I will definitely be calling James Rafferty Agency with any future insurance needs.
I just can't with this company anymore. The claims side of things have been an absolute nightmare and painfully slow. They are way behind on handling a claim and as a result, we have lost out on an opportunity for a discount. What's worse is that they are seeking to significantly increase the rates on one of our vehicles without providing any substantiating information or data, despite making a statement and offering no evidence to back it up.
