i have auto insurance with cooperators , i have to make change to my auto policy and its been 10 days i am calling for hours multiple times . but they dnt answer . if anyone going for their insurance , be aware they will pick call if u wana get quote , after that u will never be answered . thanks for teaching lesson .
I had a bad experience dealing with this branch. I'm from Calgary but my claim hail claim was dealt by this location. My first payment was processed after 6 weeks of opening the claim for two vehicles. I waited patiently because I knew insurance companies were slammed with claims due to hail storm. My second vehicle which was a total loss was picked up by an auction house on behalf of Co-operators and since then, I'm still waiting for the payout and it's been more than 3 weeks now. My claims representatives were quick to reply and went over and above to help me after an unfortunate accident. The last customer service representative I spoke to just saved me a significant amount on my policy as well. Have never had a problem with them. However, when the phone lines close in the evening, they really need to notify the people waiting on hold. I waited for 45 minutes the other evening for nothing.
Due to a language barrier of someone from Co-operators, we have asked for help to answer to a very SIMPLE mistake that happened. Understanding the huge influx of work due to the recent hail storm in Alberta, we waited patiently. After 1.5 weeks we have sent follow up emails to no avail. After unanswered voicemails and emails, we finally received a one sentence response that answered NOTHING. We have yet to receive actual instructions.
