I joined the club for fitness in McKinleyville, CA in January of 2020: I’ve been very happy there until recently. I originally signed up with a gold membership; the price was $ 64 per month. I added platinum in July of 2020 when The Club created that membership level; an additional $15 per month for a grand total of $79 per month, to include a wide variety of services: a monthly 30 minute personal training session, a 30 minute massage per month, discounts on items purchased, & guest privileges. Really enjoy going to The Club in McKinleyville. The space is always clean and well kept, which makes a big difference. I especially love that the pool doesn’t have that strong chlorine smell, it makes swimming much more enjoyable. Overall just a great gym with a really nice atmosphere.
I love the aqua yoga class. It is my physical therapy and helps keep me moving. As an older woman, I do wish we had the same amount of time as previously for Aqua yoga, as it is a gentle activity for me, as well as for some of the other Aqua Yoga lovers. The Aqua Fit part of the class can be difficult to manage.
Great from my desk service. Reasonable fees for services provided. Nicest pool in Humboldt County. Great assortment of exercise equipment and training classes. Clean, nice, modern atmosphere. Clean locker rooms.
