We recently had lunch at The Clink restaurant, in the private dining room, and we had the best time- from a great atmosphere, to the most amazing food (great cheese bread!!) and the best service from Deniz and Sean- they served us with pride, friendliness and comedy- we had the best time, thank you so much- highly recommended!!!
The best experience! Everyone was lovely and the service was excellent especially Aziz & Ashley! The food was vv yummy, definitely recommend
An attractive air conditioned restaurant in the old prison governors house. Once through the security didn’t really feel much different to any other restaurant. Four menu choices for each course, one meat one fish, one vegetarian and one vegan. All beautifully prepared with quality ingredients. Delicious. Staff keen to talk and really pleased to hear positive feedback on the food and location. Good to feel you are making a small contribution, but the quality of the food makes the trip more worthwhile.
Wow. What a totally unique experience. The Clink is for sure one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at which makes it even more amazing when you realise this is a venue operated and staffed mostly by inmates at the prison (HMP Bixton) which it’s housed at. Had an excellent Sunday lunch here. Really appreciate that there are such good vegetarian options (that gravy!), and my husband said the beef was wonderful as well. The portions were generous, and there were a lot of good non-alcoholic drink options. Make sure to reserve in advance and plan in enough time for the security check, but all the relevant info will be provided via email ahead of time.
