Cute place. Nestled in a quaint downtown Plainfield. Salmon was good. Mediterranean bowl was good. Focasia bread was super hard. I probably should have said something but overall, with the bread being stale or just simply not good, I think the place is a 4 star. Hard for me to believe when someone spread the cheese they didn’t realize that the bread was unusually hard.
It looks like a nice place when you first walk in there. But you're hit by the overpowering smell of the bathroom deodorizer, also in the vestibule, when you open the door it smells like mildew or mold is does the corner table in the dining room? I don't care for the seating because it's half booths, and they all face each other. The service was great. The food comes out of the kitchen very slowly. And the food is not up to par, it's okay. We had a wonderful lunch experience. Our server was absolutely amazing.
Beautiful building. Nice atmosphere and good service on a busy Saturday. Ordered the bacon jam wood fire pizza and Al Pastor tacos. I wasn't a fan of the pizza and my wife wasn't a fan of the tacos. Chips and salsa that came with the tacos was excellent and the sangria was very good as well. Prices were fair as well.
Always a solid choice! Never had anything I didn't like! Highly recommend.
