Excellent restaurant , rare quiet spot in touristy area
As indicated the food was excellent along with the service and the atmosphere. Our whole table enjoyed the evening. An aperitif and a glass of champagne was also provided in the set menus. A very pleasant jazz band played throughout the evening.The cost of the evening for 5 people including the set menu, 2 bottles on wine, 4 bottles of beer and tip was £953.
We went for New year's Eve and it was a great decision. The set menu was filled with enticing choices. We started with a gin based aperitif which was included. Very nice. Then there was an amazing amuse bouche, followed by a delightful selection of starters. I had an outstanding lamb dish. I thought the food was mediocre, but reasonably priced given the location and ambience. The waiter's English wasn't good, and also he didn't properly understand the menu to answer any questions without reverting back to the chef.
