Cider House is an awesome place to stay for a weekend get away. Everything is top notch and the owners are great to work with.
We can't say enough about Cider House. It is indeed a first class accommodation. The house is open and spacious. The bedrooms are super comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The setting is perfect: natural springs form a beautiful pond a short distance from the house. The trees are magnificent. The owners are some of the most gracious hosts we've met on our travels. Definitely five stars. Another way of saying: Many thanks & we'll be back!
A great place for a quiet weekend away from home. A beautiful property that is well-kept and very clean.
We stayed here for Christmas, hoping for snow (we are from Texas). But even without a white Christmas, we had so much fun. The house is very well appointed, has everything you need for cooking and fires, bedding, towels, dishes, etc. There is a beautiful pond behind the house, and a little stream behind that. It was a fun place to explore. We enjoyed the town of Mt. Vernon as well. The owners were very accommodating and even supplied a roasting pan I requested. There is every attention to detail.
