DO NOT BOOK SWEAT STUDIO AS A VENUE! I recently made a tentative booking for a school event. I paid a 50% deposit out of my own pocket, as a show of good faith. The deposit was paid on the proviso that, if the event did not go ahead, I would be refunded the deposit. I gave plenty of notice, well before the balance of the hire fee was due and now Mr Mclennan is 'ghosting' me. He has not responded to my repeated attempts to contact him and has not refunded me. I will be taking this further.
