Food was phenomenal, but service towards the end was a hassle. We had a party of 12 and they told us at the end they couldn’t separate the checks? So out of our dinner time we had to get a pen and paper to figure out of what each check would have been. I gotta say for spending over a 1,000 dollars I won’t deal with that again.
There is a lot to love about the Chumley house. The decor is very charming and the service is impeccable. They have some fantastic takes on classic dishes. The wedge salad was a great mix of what you expect and a few surprises like seeds and served in a way that could be shared. The New York strip was an outstanding piece of meat cooked perfectly. The service is top notch, the best I’ve experienced so far in Fort Worth! We had the Butter Chicken Pie, Beef Wellington, Regal Potatoes, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. All are recommended but if I had to choose one, the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert was the standout in a fantastic meal!
I wanted to leave such a great review because the food was beyond excellent the service was just awful and left a gap of alot to be desired When we arrived there was only 1 other table seated. After that point people sat down ordered and left. Ordered at 715pm left at 930pm. Our Sever Osvaldo was completely useless never came to check on us during our meal other servers came by when we asked them to.
