The Christian Village is a great place. They treat everyone like family.
You can start by hiring more staff so your nurses can give patients their proper care. You have good nurses, but when 1 RN and 1, maybe 2 CNAs are responsible for two full halls of people, no one can do their job right. You could hire people to clean the rooms. Ive been in my moms room for 5 days and not once did housevkeeping come into her room. The nurses come in with bleach wipes and wipe things down. Julie King and Jeaneen Ray do a great job of keeping activities and any thing that needs attention taken care of. Nice neighbors and duplex is great.
Our move to The Christian Village was one year ago and it has been an excellent move of a pair of OVER Octenargians. We are VERY satisfied in our more than adequate duplex.
I moved to The Christian Village almost two years ago, and I can emphatically say it was the right move at the right time for me. I have all the comforts of my lifetime home without the responsibilities of maintenance and upkeep. I am grateful for the care and Christian concern evidenced daily by the administration.
