The counselor I met with insisted that every counseling problem is rooted in sin and idols, including anxiety, ADHD, and lack of social skills. I left meetings feeling hopeless and discouraged and he had the audacity to call this "biblical counseling." I talked about desiring spiritual growth and he quoted almost verbatim the answers I had gotten from pastors - if that is what you are looking for ask around at your church instead. This place needs to seriously reevaluate their methods and so called "biblical counseling" and talk to all their counselors about how they help their clients. The one I talked to made me feel worse about myself and my life.
