Stopped by the ER at Christ Hospital Cincinnati on 6/24/26 around 7pm as a guest. The check-in staff were solid—friendly, quick, and got people taken care of. The off-duty CPD officer working security was approachable and actually made the place feel a bit more relaxed. Props to both. But honestly, the state of the waiting area wasn’t great. Great job everytime I go
Nightmarish experience. A mean 20-something receptionist told me that being a hospital guest 'is a privilege and not a right' as I asked to be with my deaf, 98 year old mom who'd been brought in by ambulance. The security guard was a jerk too. The lobby was cramped and dismal but it was 10 times worse once I got back to the ER with patients waiting in the hallway and a cold and unfriendly female ER doc who was the worst I've ever dealt with. I dont like being told im fine only to be sent home in the exact same pain i came in with i dont feel i was taken seriously it felt more like a get you in get out type of situation definitely will never go again
Upon reaching the Emergency at Christ Hospital. I was immediately signed into a intake roll. I didn't wait, any more than ten minutes to be called. And the waiting area was very busy. My situation was addressed the minute I walked in & I was given a small private room with TV & phone. When I spoke to a nurse about if I could get something to eat.
