This place has turned into a joke. We arrived at 4:30 and didn’t leave till about 1:30 am. No one really told us anything. Since we were from out of town my son couldn’t be admitted. No one really told us anything the entire time we were there. The hospital looks like something out of the 80s nothing really updated. My family in the past used to always go here because I’m from Cincinnati but this place has really went down.
Got pretty quick service. The ER is dirty. The beds, floors, & tables all need deep disinfecting cleaning.
Stopped by the ER at Christ Hospital Cincinnati on 6/24/26 around 7pm as a guest. The check-in staff were solid—friendly, quick, and got people taken care of. The off-duty CPD officer working security was approachable and actually made the place feel a bit more relaxed. Props to both. But honestly, the state of the waiting area wasn’t great. Great job everytime I go
Nightmarish experience. A mean 20-something receptionist told me that being a hospital guest 'is a privilege and not a right' as I asked to be with my deaf, 98 year old mom who'd been brought in by ambulance. The security guard was a jerk too. The lobby was cramped and dismal but it was 10 times worse once I got back to the ER with patients waiting in the hallway and a cold and unfriendly female ER doc who was the worst I've ever dealt with.
