My son began working with The Children's Spot in June, and we began seeing results soon thereafter. The therapists dove right in and engaged him with creative approaches that demonstrated that not only did they listen to his parents, but more importantly to my son. The children’s spot has been life changing for our family. We have been going there for about 4 years. My son started at 2 and half years old with Aba, speech and occupational services. He went from being non verbal to being able to say full sentences. His social skills have become amazing and over all playing skills have grown. We are intensive users of speech services for our son who is autistic and has severe speech apraxia. He has worked with a speech language pathologist at the SPOT for many years and she has worked miracles. Our therapist is so passionate about her work, so caring, and so talented and proficient. We have just began ABA for my 2.5 year old ! He is non verbal and this has been his first time away from family! Our BCBA Ciara has been PHENOMENAL in pairing with him as well as communicating effectively to all family involved! All other therapist we have met this far have had warm & welcoming personalities to which our son has taken to! We feel comfortable and safe leaving our child here ! The therapists are excellent. They care about each child individual needs and encourage communication with the parents. They are open to your input and willing to be accommodating. Excellent therapists as well as reliable office staff.
