I graduated from the Children’s Orchestra Society (COS) in 1989. Every Saturday, my mom drove my sister and me from New Jersey to rehearsals—sometimes 1.5 to 2 hours each way with traffic. COS had a huge influence on my career as a filmmaker and sound engineer. It taught me teamwork, leadership, perseverance, focus, communication, listening, and patience.
