Compassionate and professional
All my concerns and questions were addressed without any issues. Staff is very caring and understanding.
Brought my son to ER a few days ago on a Sunday. The staff was so nice so this rating doesn’t go to them but the ER doctor was condescending to her staff and kept taking off my son’s neck brace after they put it on due to policy. She brushed off my son’s neck injury and did a quick xray and sent us away. We ended up at UT and got xray and CT which showed subluxation of c1/2 and acute torticollis which he is now wearing a neck brace that he only takes off for showers and on Valium for the muscle spasm. We have had some challenging appointments lately with my two year old who is scared of the doctor but our visit to the children’s ER this week went so much better than I expected. The nurses and doctor were so friendly and understanding of his anxiety and made him and I feel comfortable. The rooms were kid friendly and made a stressful situation as enjoyable as possible.
If you have a little that needs an ER this is a hidden gem. Clean, quick, but nurses and staff are patient, kind, professional and knowledgeable! Nurse Holly and Dr Sanders helped us and got us in and out! I'll definitely be coming back here if needed!
