Our 17 year old daughter, referred by school and paediatrician to Dr Hearn with long-standing issues did not receive qualified help with diagnosis, besides a computer-generated report we paid over $3500. Her opinions were based on very old outdated standards.
I don’t understand what happened to the service of this place. All I get now is money hungry vibes compared to what it used to be. I am glad I no longer take my child there.
My teenage daughter received uncaring care. Dr. Lee Hearn did not provide professional diagnostic service and was difficult to liaise.
Our experience with this clinic has been very disappointing. The clinician did not demonstrate the understanding or gentle manner you would expect when working with a child on the autism spectrum. My son did not feel safe or comfortable, and some of the language used with him was inappropriate. When discussing his diagnosis, she told him, “You’re not dumb,” which was upsetting and not an appropriate way to explain ASD to a child.
