We have been seeing Dr Ruth Surman for quite a few years now. Dr Surman is exceptional and has revolutionised our lives. Hugely grateful. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You Ruth
This place is useless and not very friendly. The staff are just rude and do not show a good impression. They just give these poor children life long labels that are not the right diagnosis for them, which messes with life by than putting it all on there medical records and school support plans, which means people treat you differently.
We spent a few years in the care of one of the developmental Paed’s here and regret it deeply. Essentially our child was misdiagnosed. What made it worse was us advocating on his behalf that we suspected an alternative diagnosis and asking this be considered to be told that the ‘primary’ diagnosis was clearly anxiety and this should be treated and medicated before they would look at other collateral diagnoses. Dr Lee Hearn did testing for daughter’s diagnosis. Attitude ignorant, defensive, lacking insight and communication. $3500 paid, computer-generated report produced.
Our 17 year old daughter, referred by school and paediatrician to Dr Hearn with long-standing issues did not receive qualified help with diagnosis, besides a computer-generated report we paid over $3500. Her opinions were based on very old outdated standards.
