Our experience with this clinic has been very disappointing. The clinician did not demonstrate the understanding or gentle manner you would expect when working with a child on the autism spectrum. My son did not feel safe or comfortable, and some of the language used with him was inappropriate. When discussing his diagnosis, she told him, “You’re not dumb,” which was upsetting and not an appropriate way to explain ASD to a child. The doctors there are really great. Admin staff -- not so much... but you don't go there to see the receptionist, you go there for the service of the doctors.
Excellent practice. We saw Mick O'Keeffe for 15 years and he was amazing for both my son and family in terms of guidance, very thorough and excellent advice. Would highly recommend.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the administrative staff. I called to reschedule an appointment to our usual time of 4:00 PM. However, the staff member I spoke with insisted that neither the clinician we are seeing nor any other clinician offers appointments around that time, which I find hard to believe.
