I was a former resident at Tccny and to be completely transparent I don't understand the bad reviews. These places aren't here to cure your children its here to support them and show them skills for the outside for and show them how to cope . Yes we do have walks to family tree once we EARN them . Based on my experience, the Child Center of NY program located in Brooklyn did not meet expectations, primarily due to issues related to management. The program director is Julia Floyd. While the program’s stated mission is to support teens and parents in building positive and healthy relationships, I found that the lack of consistency, clear communication, and effective listening often undermined that goal.
