The chef and staff were extremely accommodating, being thoughtful and proactive for my pregnant wife's food requirements. The 5 course tasting menu was amazing and paired perfectly with their wine option. Highly recommend and appreciative of the service they provided.
The Charles boasts a top class fine dining restaurant. The 5 course tasting menu with matched wines is a phenomenal experience, combining everything you'd expect - delictate presentations, contrasting textures and flavours that surprise. Blink and you might think you were in Melbourne.
Great hotel with modern tasteful flair. Staff are fantastic and our 5 course tasting menu dinner was absolutely brilliant. Highly reccomend this hotel and will absolutely return.
Dinner at the Charles is always a special experience. The food is thoughtfully, beautifully presented with intriguing flavour presentations. Always a topic of conversation around the table. Service is always personalised with meals delivered at just the right pace and you dont feel rushed. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are always obliging and happy to have a chat, discuss flavours or dishes, call a taxi for you which makes the experience even nicer.
