I simply want to stick to the facts for this review. Our visit was Friday August 7th, 2026. I made reservations for 6:30pm for a party of 4. My wife, myself and a couple of friends of ours that frequently dine every weekend, both here in Somerset and abroad. My wife and I arrived 10 minutes early and made our way inside. Most of the food we had was very good, but my cacio e pepe was so full of pepper it was inedible. This is a dish i have had many times before at other establishments so it wasnt just me being unprepared for a peppery dish. I like pepper, i really do. It was excessive. Everything else was fantastic and I would have been happy to still give 5 stars but even though I informed the waitress immediately and ordered the soup instead which was fabulous I was still then charged for the dish I did not eat.
