Working with Carl F********* was by far the worst experience I have had as a homeowner. I hired him for a kitchen renovation. He proved to be totally incompetent, unreliable, unprofessional, abusive, and duplicitous. I have had several contractors in to look at the disaster he left behind in my kitchen, all of whom described his work as “shameful.” I am now in the position, after having spent my budget paying Carl for his grossly inadequate work, of having to pay other contractors to fix his mess. Carl was referred to us by ******** and **** ******* from creative ******* ** ******** ny. They said he was their friend and they highly recommended him. it was the worst mistake we have ever made in selecting a contractor. He does not have a reliable crew, he only has one reliable guy who is nice but can’t do everything himself. Sometimes he has another guy but as Carl said he is unreliable. Mr. F********* is quite the professional, and so is his team. He managed the remodel/extension of my home to perfection. I had viewed his custom home builds and was quite excited that he would take on my home. We are very pleased with the cost saving measures, honest evaluations, and expertise of his company.
