My entire family has been there since it first opened, and they were treated so badly a few years ago that they all left. I never found a good primary to replace Dr. Barrosos or Dr. Alonso who i was seeing as my first adult doc. I am now 35. i’ve been one or there first patients at the location, and after my sister and parents being totally ignored and not given appts —i’ve now experienced this in the last few years plus. I generally have an appointment with the PA. The PA is aware of my background and my desire to have someone I can trust as a main medical contact. I have insurance that does not require me to go to a primary but I prefer to go to the primary so someone knows all the different conditions I am managing and the treatments to ensure there isn't a conflict. The PA and staff are very warm and friendly. My only negative comment is having to pay an additional copay to view labs from a previous visit.
I have been a patient in this office for more than 15 years. The physicians and clinicians are fantastic and very caring. Patients often have unreasonable expectations when they see their family physician or internist. I assure you that Dr Alonso and Dr Barroso focus 100% on their patients health and well-being each and every day. This is not an easy task given the complexities of medicine and the lack of a true healthcare system. Dr. Alonso is very thorough, friendly, kind and intelligent. She has been able to help me with my health issues.
