Our whole family have been seen by Dr Ah Kit for around 10 years. He’s supported us through all the infant and teen years. He has always taken the time to really understand what’s happening and will discuss what the various options are so you feel like you are participating in your own care decisions. He will refer out for various tests or specialist referrals as needed. There is a bulk billing service but you have to wait for it. Otherwise you pay for your appointment. Dr Ah Kit is a very knowledgeable GP. He keeps up to date with the latest medical advice for various patient problems. He is very busy and overworked and needs an assistant he can rely on. I feel very lucky to have him as our family GP.
It used be a great medical centre for minor conditions and complications with friendly staff but now they have become privatised and there is no more bulk billing. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.Today during my walk in i got a surprise of this new change.
I have been seeing Dr Ah Kit for many years and find him particularly helpful and kind. He's able to discuss any health situation and options in a friendly responsive manner. The receptionists have been great, and have gone out of their way to help me and my husband.
