I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Dr. Mwaisela’s office. I called because I urgently needed a refill for my seizure medication, which was previously prescribed by Dr. Mwaisela. I spoke with Raven D. Howard, who documented the interaction as if I was being ‘abrupt,’ when in reality I was concerned and frustrated because missing this medication has seriously affected my health in the past. Trying to get an urgent prescription filled. I have been taking the same medication for 30 years and for some reason they sent in the wrong version to the pharmacy. I am trying to get ahold of the office to have them expedite this refill because I have already missed two doses. The current wait time on the phone is 44 minutes to speak to someone. Regularly have issues with one particular staff member who is always rude and makes me jump through hoops to provide information multiple times. If I get upset when she acts rude and dismissive, she'll either put me on an indefinite hold or hang up on me. When she responds to the emails, she'll claim delays are due to me not providing information when the information was in the previous email in the same email chain. I was very impressed with Dr. Tsao. He was friendly, thorough, and made an otherwise unpleasant test (EMG) very comfortable. I’ll echo comments that his bedside manner is best-in-class. Would certainly recommend him for young adults (and children).
Literally awful communication with the staff! They would not refill a medication I’ve been on for 2 years and finally told me a month after requesting it after an over a month I needed a follow up appointment. They do not care about the patients at all
