Dr. Cragie is always willing to speak with me. He answers all my questions and expains things over again lol. I'm that person that gives things a 1% chance of failure, my body has a hard time with things. It is why I did'nt do implants. My DIEP failed. (Got a tummy tuck instead-scar is almost gone). At first meeting, Dr. Craigie seems kind and compassionate and explained everything in a thoughtful and thorough way.
My daughter had a fibroadenoma in her breast and we were very stressed out about it. Dr. Craigie and his team walked us through every step of the process and coordinated closely with the other doctors involved in order to make the surgery go as smoothly as possible. He gave me several updates throughout her surgery process and has followed up several times to make sure that the healing is going well. His team is extremely responsive and quick to help. Dr Craigie and his staff are wonderful! So pleased with the outcome of my surgery, looking forward to further reconstruction. While I was waiting for Duke to call me back, I had an appointment in a week! They truly live up to the practice name!
I went to Dr. Craigie for a second opinion on reconstruction after failed attempt at implants after lumpectomy and radiation. He spent an hour with my husband and me answering all of our questions and explaining the diep flap procedure he is recommending that I do. He is very knowledgeable and I feel that I am in good hands. He said he has a 99% success rate with the diep flap procedure. My cancer surgeon who I love highly recommended Dr. Craigie and Dr. Kline.
