Dr. Murphy the Animal & Bird Medical Center staff are the most amazing veterinary hospital you will ever meet. The hospital is state-of-the- art and they do holistic medicine. My cat and dog go there and he saved my cat's life. They have the safest anesthesia I have ever seen and I used to work in a hospital. How many vets have pulse ox, positive pressure ventilation, ekg monitoring during surgery. They let me watch my pets dental cleaning and they have all the same equipment my dentist has. I am so happy to have found a wonderfully knowledgable and caring veterinarian since relocating to the Palm Harbor area. Dr Murphy cares for my Bulldog Tinsle who has bad allergies. I was put on the allergy program that is offered in the doggy annual health plans. Such an amazing plan considering I am a regular at their officeSaves me and Tinsle. Highly recommend Dr. Murphys officeif your pet is a family member like mineyou wouldnt go anywhere else.
I recently needed to find a place to board my pets while we had a family emergency out of town. I was so pleased that Dr. Murphys office had a boarding "bed and breakfast" as they described in their hospital. I enjoyed the fact that they had their own walking area and had my dogs bathed on they day that I picked them up so they smelled wonderful. I took my cat Tippy to Dr. Murphy and was impressed by not only the knowledge that Dr. Murphy had about felines but also the knowledge of his Veterinary Medical Techs. I have taken my cat to cat hospitals who claim to specialize in cat health, but never could come up with a diagnosis for my cat. Dr. Murphy not only diagnosed my cat but now she is healthier and acting like a kitten again at 15 years old. I brought Tucker in to Dr.Murphy when he was feeling sick, and luckily Dr.Murphy was able to find that my dog was healthy! He was just having an episode after eating some plants in our yard. After walking in the back where the Veterinary Assistants work, I could see all the high-tech equipment they use. i.e., A local Dr.Murphy and his staff are amazing! My 14 year old dog Yukon was breathing hard and he couldn't walk. I took him to Dr. Murphy. Dr. Murphy prescribed extensive diagnostics including x-rays, ultrasound and complete bloodwork up. He found Yukon's problem and started him on an aggressive treatment plan.
