this is MOST certainly ot the place for battered women to go . My daughter TRIED toget services and after meeting with someone at one of the other offices the firsr meeting the counselor never showed up and no one ever call leaving a message that the counselor could not make it even though they said a call was made but my caller I.D. never had any record of a call. then there was issues and any time we finally met the requirements of waht they were expecting they constantly found new "protocalls" we were not following that h... read more
If you need help, this is DEFINITELY the place to go! As a child, I, my mother and siblings stayed in their shelter to escape an abusive step dad and it was the only real peace I remember. I will never forget everything they did for us, and the friends I made.
