Seek alternative care and physican. It's been over a month and still delayed results. Takes forever to work with insurance to even clear for a PET scan. Every appointment is at 60+ minutes wait. Doctor is absolutely unsure and not confident in their treatment plan. Still "going over pathology" when we've been here waiting for over an hour. Seems like lack of confidence to me.
I don’t know what’s worse, finding out your mom has cancer or having to deal with this horrible doctor’s office. My advice is SEEK ALTERNATE CARE. Do not come here unless you want to be taken advantage of and never get a call back for information you need. 1. Trying to get a call back from here is like pulling teeth. The nurse practitioner I saw was lovely & so kind & really made up for the experience I'm about to talk about. The staff in the office was incredibly rude. The day before my appt they call me at 10 am to send in my insurance and a photo of my ID which I said of course to. However at work and I left my wallet at home. I was a patient at Choice Cancer Care during treatment. When The Center Tx took over the data was not downloaded correctly. I did chemo, surgery, radiation, diagnosed in 12/2020. The diagnosis date from the data transfer says I am ACTIVE with a diagnosis date 09/01:2021. My records have been distributed with the wrong dates. I missed 2 MRI, all of my scrips and referrals went to a number no one can tell me who has my personal information, I went 4 days without an estrogen blocker.
