I was previously treated here following an out of state residential placement, as this was the only step down facility in my area. I ended up signing out AMA because their approach to treatment was so disordered! More than once a clinician recommended that I buy a food scale to weigh my meal components, and any commentary about what techniques are helpful or harmful to you is seen as "treatment resistance." This place is terrible and does not treat for co-occuring disorders, which many people with eating disorders have. It is a very rigid, inflexible program that is designed for eating disorder symptom management and nothing else. The therapist Asia is particularly terrible. The clinical director Cal has poor judgment and his ego drives his practice. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
It was bittersweet for me! I honestly can say my therapist Kim helped me tremendously! However they weren't as kind to me when it came to settling my account balance! Before I could make payment arrangements (during COVID!) They sent my account to collections and it plummeted my credit score! I was in the works in buying a house thats on hold now.
