Last minute booking, traveling from PEI to southern NH. Such a delightful experience. A warm, knowledgeable and super friendly group ( Sebastian, Deb and Jan (ice)), in no particular order, shared their stories and pride for Castine Maine, Maine Maritime Academy and of course the history of the Castine Inn. We love this place.
Very impressed. We were in room 10 and the air conditioning was great, beds were very comfy (soft, quality linens). The old but well-cared for building has real character and we appreciated the thoughtfully diverse, delicious breakfast. Beautiful gardens and a welcoming porch rounded out the visit nicely. Staff was also lovely.
