I love Cascadia Daily News. It offers a wide variety of very interesting articles, with a special focus on local news. Their long form article series are especially valuable, such as the one on new jail issues; and the one on our Working Waterfront. I always enjoy reading the opinion pages - the guest commentaries are often enlightening, and the Letters section is an invaluable platform for public discussion of local issues. Good work guys. Very professional and nuanced local news. Without them they would be no good source for local news.
Disappointed to see the paper won’t be out until Fridays now. We are already receiving our print editions several days late, but now we won’t get the edition until into the next week. I don’t foresee us keeping our subscription much longer as we are also unhappy with the amount of opinion and “hot takes” taking up space rather than actual community news. Just so disappointed with the direction this publication is going, but luckily there are other better quality options in the area
