My husband and I stayed at The Carriage House in Ocean Grove for 4 days in July 2026. The location, food and atmosphere provided a perfect place for our getaway. If you stay in room 14, I recommend you open the double doors to enjoy the ocean view and breeze from bed. We really enjoyed our stay! The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach and close to plenty of great restaurants, which made everything so convenient. The breakfast was fresh every morning and very good, and we also loved that bikes and beach umbrellas were provided. Those extra amenities made our trip even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the main room did not have central air conditioning. During our stay, temperatures were around 90 degrees, and it became quite uncomfortable. This is our second summer visiting for a weekend!! We loved it so much last year we had to come back!! It's so pretty and gorgeously appointed in Victorian decor. Nothing about it feels stuffy though. A very relaxing and inviting inn so close to the beach. They have everything you need for the shore; bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels, beach bags, sun hats, and carts!! The rooms are so pretty!!! Just returned from this fabulous Inn. Room was lovely with balcony, breakfast was terrific each morning. The beach is a short block to the beach which is soo convenient. What impressed us the most was they offer every beach item - chairs, umbrellas, towels, and even beach bags and hats!! Can't wait to return!! Danielle was especially helpful and loved her wonderful warm hospitality!!

My husband and I stayed at The Carriage House to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and we loved it! Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with a private bathroom and central air. The location was perfect, just one block from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and shops in this charming town. The breakfast was delicious and worth mentioning.We highly recommend it and are already planning our next visit!
