This B&B has a delicious breakfast with homemade egg and french toast entrees, pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt, muffins, coffee and teas. The rooms are clean with great amenities, including some with porches, nice toiletries, sheets, and towels. They have a fridge/freezer for guests to use. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. This year’s breakfast was better than last years which included sausages and egg mixes. The location and service were perfect. A salute to Cheryl for running the hotel so well
The managers and staff Cheryl, Lucas, Effy, Michelle, Maya and Effy have been gracious and can’t do enough for us to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Olga and Teresa do an excellent job at keeping the place spotless. The breakfasts are delicious! The convenience of having beach chairs and towels is fantastic and unique in Ocean Grove. It’s only one block to the beach and many rooms and verandas have ocean views.
Carriage House is an Ocean Grove gem. It is clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The breakfast is top notch - delicious with something for every taste. Cheryl, who runs the inn, is world class. She went above and beyond to satisfy our every want and need and make our stay a memorable one in the best possible way.
Close enough to hear the waves, smell the sea, and feel the ocean breeze. The Inn provided a beautiful breakfast. Prepared by one of the best, Chef Cheryl, to suit anyone’s taste; sweet, savory as well as healthy choices. Our room was lovely with a balcony and a view of the ocean It was always made up beautifully daily by Gretchen and her staff. Ocean Grove is a quaint, fun, quiet and spiritual. It’s only a few minutes to Asbury Park. We will definitely be back. ~ Mike & Cathie
