The Carpenter Shop builds cabinets and countertops including finishing and installation. We build our own doors in house so you can always get a replacement should one get broken. We build frameless cabinets so there is little wasted space or wasted labor like in the old fashioned obsolete face frame cabinets. A typical job takes three weeks from start to finish and there is no need to remove the old kitchen until the day before we are ready to install your new kitchen. Nothing but good things to say about this company. They did a quote for me a few weeks back and were knowledgeable, professional, and quite clever in solving a few problems I had with the existing kitchen. This is a working shop so they expect you to show up knowing what you need, the guy literally has to lay down his tools to talk to you so be respectful of his time and you will be treated well. This guy did our kitchen a few years back. Huge shop, one man makes everything and does a pretty good job given the budget we were working with. Don't expect to be sold on anything or go through a dozen drawings before you decide. There is no design staff or office staff so Al literally puts down his tools to talk to you and he expects a customer to know what they want. Al deserves FIVE STARS in my book! In November 2014, Al completed installation of my brand new cabinets and countertops. I found Al by random on the internet which can be scary, but during my first appointment with him at his showroom he put me completely at ease and I knew that he was the perfect man for the job. The total cost was not “cheap”, but I felt that the cost was perfectly reasonable for the quality workmanship and professional assistance that Al provided every step of the way. Al did a kitchen for us several months back and did an excellent job. Had a reasonable price considering the quality of the work we wanted. Built and installed the entire project in less than a month's time with only a few days of onsite work so going with his company saved us a lot of time off work. He was always professional and on time.
My wife called to ask about getting new cabinet doors for are kitchen, he asked her some questions and then (forgot to put the phone on hold) calling her an idiot, and a few more things. she infomed me. I called to talk to a manager/supervisor, and "AL" said just ask your question, so i asked who called my wife and idiot.
