The Caron Camp felt like home the moment we walked inside. The cabin was very clean, and for a remote cabin out in the Allagash, I was shocked at how spotless it was. I have never stayed in a cabin so clean in all my life. This was the perfect spot to relax and connect with nature. From the sound of the wind rustling through the trees to the flow of the Saint John River below, this special place—sweetly nestled in the Allagash—is truly a hidden gem. We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The cabin is easy to access and the property grounds are well maintained. The beds are comfortable and it was clean so overall we felt at ease and rested. We love the North Maine Woods and spent time on lakes and rivers while there - so much to do, so little time. Becky is a fantastic host, very responsive and clear communications. We hope to visit again, our time on the road was worth it.
We've stayed twice at The Caron Camp and have loved our visits there. It's the perfect place to relax and get away. We love the outdoor kitchen and spend most of our time outside looking at the beautiful views, cooking, talking, sitting by the fire and soaking in the hot tub. Becky is an awesome host! We can't wait to visit again next fall!
Camp is much appreciated. Everything about it is without peer and the location is 2nd to none. You're staying at a place that is on the border of civilization....a good place to be! Becky is a joy t work with and a very helpful Lady. Stellar!!!
Caron Camp, located on the banks of the St. John River in Allagash, Maine is amazingly peaceful and relaxing. Camp is equipped with modern appliances, including Wi-Fi. Idyllic setting with an incredile view. Bonus! Outdoor kitchen is a great place to relax with morning coffee or an evening fire by the firepit. Highly recommend!
