Living at the Carnegie has given my father a new lease on life! The "regular" programming is engaging and so much more than just "regular", and the courses offered by JHU are an added bonus. The "outings" couldn't be better--Smithsonian, theater, concerts, sports games, museums and more. The community itself is full of intelligent, active, interesting neighbors who have become friends.
Excellent staff and well run independent living .
I visit my parents every other Saturday when my daughter is volunteering. I look forward to this chunk of time with my folks. All the staff are super nice. Rents have been there almost a year, and I still don’t know everyone’s name! People always greet me with a smile and a “hello”. The food is really good, the atmosphere is beautiful, and there are always activities. It is a lively place. Of course, you can always go back to your apartment when you want.
