I am currently living at the Carlisle in Independent living. The atmosphere here does not look or feel like a facility with its Mediterranean design. It feels more like a hotel or a luxurious home. It's location is superb. We are steps from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Directly across the street are lovely shops, restaurants, and beauty salons which offer great convenience. My dad moved in just a few months ago and this has been life-changing for him. He really wasn’t the social type but it didn’t take him long to get acclimated. All of the residents and especially the staff have been exceptionally inviting. My Dad was hospitalized and the staff and residents kept checking on him and made sure he was OK and got him back into the swing of things once he was back home.
