NO INTEGRITY!!!!!!!!!! NO VALUE for clients time, I've seen great work in the past, however I've spent around $$$5000$$$$ in the last few months here and I'm sad to say I won' be back. They charge 103.50/hr Labor if i charged that rate my repair should have been free. I was contacted at 10 am, to let me know my car was ready I enquired about getting picked up, "yes i will have the driver call you when he returns." 6 HOURS later, Come on!!! My car overheated so I called AAA & the tow truck driver recommended Tony at The Car Works. Tony & staff are Awesome! Jennifer Rocks!They showed me everything wrong with my car. Very comfortable! I recommend The Car Works to everyone!
This auto shop has incompetent mechanics or they are they are not very honest. Our vehicle overheated on the way to Las Vegas and "The Car Works" mechanics claimed it was a broken head gasket and it was going to cost me $2,500.00. I had my vehicle towed back to Los Angeles and a mechanic found the issue within 5 minutes, and all it needed was a thermostat which cost me $150.00.
My California vehicle overheated just 30 miles outside of Las Vegas and could not be restarted. I called AAA & asked to be towed to a AAA approved repair facility and was taken to The Car Works. "Tony", the owner, personally looked at my minivan and performed a quick test on the engine and was told that head gasket failed and/or possible cracked engine block had occurred.
