Great stay ——— the staff, location, and room was amazing, tram right at the front door highly recommend, Would stay again.
Really lovely staff, very helpful. However, triple glazing would not be a luxury based on the location, very hard to sleep with the trains passing. The room was clean and well furnished but hard to heat. I’m also sorry to say that, but there was a sewerage smell coming out of the bathroom. Shared spaces not that clean such as lobby, lift and gym.
We stayed at The Canvas Apartment for 5 nights and overall had a good experience. The place is clean and well-maintained. It seems to run more like an Airbnb/service apartment model, so there’s no daily housekeeping, but towels were changed during our stay. Not too bad, though it would be great if they could provide some basic cleaning tools for guests to tidy up the toilet themselves — otherwise it can feel unhygienic after several days without cleaning. Absolutely incredible stay. I’ve never been to Melbourne before but I found this accommodation mainly for the price as a broke uni student! Turns out it was super close to a tram stop and convenient for walking to restaurants and around the city. I do have to say the room was cozy, and the bed was like a cloud.
