Just an FYI for anyone considering or currently living in a DR Horton home: My house came equipped with Whirlpool washer and dryer units, and unfortunately, they didn’t even last a full year. To make matters worse, replacement parts for these specific bulk-installed models are no longer available. The garbage disposal also failed early on—it completely seized and couldn’t be repaired, only replaced, and it wasn’t covered under warranty.
