I’ve been a customer here before, and in the past the merchant has opened merchandise in front of me and allowed me to look at it, as well as watched me handle similar items without any issue. On this visit, I was suddenly accused of opening a product that was already open and told I had to pay for it. There were no signs posted stating “do not touch” or “do not open,” and customers are openly told to go in and look at the merchandise.
