I did received care at this cancer center and found myself saying I felt the same way as the other comments here. These Dr's need a eye opener and wake up call. I moved on to another facility for my cancer care.
"Dr." Gordon gave my father a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer with the most cavalier attitude. There was no sense of urgency with this man. He didn't allow them to ask questions. He didn't allow my sister in with my elderly parents while he gave him what what essentially a death sentence. I understand that any cancer center deals with death but when a doctor no longer sees his patients as humans with people who love them, it's time to move on. By all accounts, Dr. Qiang saved the life of my buddy, Mike C. In Mike’s words, “Dr. Qiang is brilliant, driven and works tirelessly to help, heal, and in my case, save lives”. All of us who love Mike as our dear friend thank the Cancer Center, and thank God, for the amazing care, intellect, and experience that Dr. Qiang brings to Mike and to all of his patients!
My experience at UMass Harrington Cancer Center concerning doctor care was, to say the least, very uncomfortable. It was time to find another doctor, and I did.
