To whom it may concern, concerning the one Star Postings and the Dr. associated with those postings is all I have to say. I moved on for my Cancer Care to another doctor and facility.
I cannot say enough about the Cancer Center at Harrington UMass Memorial. It is a god send to have this facility available to us in the suburbs so we don't have to drive into Worcester for treatment. Every single person in this center is amazing. From the receptionists to the Nurses even including the infamous Dr. Gordon. We just went through 7 weeks of radiation 5 days a week with Chemo once a week. The Nurses are the best around. And I do mean that. Every one of them with smiles and hugs for anyone who needs them. I did received care at this cancer center and found myself saying I felt the same way as the other comments here. These Dr's need a eye opener and wake up call. I moved on to another facility for my cancer care.
"Dr." Gordon gave my father a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer with the most cavalier attitude. There was no sense of urgency with this man. He didn't allow them to ask questions. He didn't allow my sister in with my elderly parents while he gave him what what essentially a death sentence. I understand that any cancer center deals with death but when a doctor no longer sees his patients as humans with people who love them, it's time to move on.
