Worst experience ever, stay away from this place. This place is like prison, and their clients are prisoners. Lack of respect and care from their staff members. It’s like they pity as and think we are stupid to realize what they are doing. I heard a staff talking about another person, laughing and joking. Totally unacceptable and the fact they are openly discussing other clients to where others can hear is concerning. Talk about HIPAA
I’ve been to lots of different treatment centers both in patient and out patient, and I have to say I’ve always preferred the staff and community here at the camp recovery center. Always super supportive, caring, and proactive with all their clients. I always recommend it to others that are looking to get back on their feet and start a new healthy way of life. Love the community and support group I’ve built during my time here.
If you want to come out worse than you came in come to this place. One male staff was absolutely horrible. Making me feel worse I came him to get help not to be humiliated and hating myself even more. Avoid this place by all means.
I have had an amazing experience while here at the Camp Recovery Center. All of the good things I've heard are true, and more. The Staff and people here are kind, respectful, and helpful and make it a very comfortable, relaxing, and motivating experience. I have had a lot of fun, gone on trips for professional surfing lessons, and attended very helpful and enjoyable classes regarding rehabilitation to keep me sober, healthy, and motivated. Choosing to go to The Camp Recovery Center was one of the hardest but best decisions of my life. The staff truly cares about your recovery—from the therapists to the support staff, everyone treated me with dignity and respect. The serene environment really helped me disconnect from the chaos of active addiction and focus entirely on healing.
