I stopped at lunch time and was immediately charmed by the atmosphere. Antique furniture, moody colors, oversized artwork, and cats! It was so welcoming. Then, the man working the counter added his own quirky brand of chaos to my visit. While I waited, I had weird and wonderful conversations with other patrons which was truly just icing on the whole experience. I left with yummy treats and a lighter heart. Thank you.
I came in with an obscure request for a cake for my mother's birthday and Lisa and Chris (I think that's his name, sorry!) were SUPER accommodating and took the time to understand what it was I was looking/asking for. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. The final product came out fantastic and my mother LOVED IT. Lisa makes everything in house and everything I've tried has been nothing short of spectacular. Super magical place if you walked too quickly, you would miss the adorable alley with plastic flowers. The decor is a mismatch of furniture, art in a homey vibe. There is even a friendly, resident cat who walks around and partake the toilet water. The service was excellent and they surprised my friend with a birthday cookie with a lit candle. They even gave me a cookie for just being there. The sandwiches were so fresh and filling. Definitely a unique place to go.
Amazing. There are so many words that would describe this shop. Fantastic food with a variety of different choices that showcase the artistry of the owner. Kind, compassionate and service oriented. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming at the same time. Absolutely love this place!
Lisa is the best. Having the Cakery so close to my office is the best kind of struggle - self control. Every time I go in, I end up buying pretty much one of everything so I can share with my husband and kids (if it lasts that long).
