Upon arrival, we asked the manager about the trail listed on the ad for the Breton Farm House. He pointed to the left of the cabin and said, "that way". There was no signage or map available & as much as we all explored and looked, we could not find any trail on the property. The grass was extremely thick & high which made the search for the trail to the lookout impossible. We could not comfortably walk around the home. All good. If you’re over 6 feet tall just be aware that room three is much more suitable for munchkins. But more importantly, the owners and staff are precisely the type of caring and helpful people we all desire when booking and enjoying our vacations, especially in the areas we have not visited before. So kudos to the owners and staff!!!

We loved the location as it was close to Cape Smokey. We stayed there for 1 night so could not get chance to explore more around this resort. But they do have lot of things around. We had Mac & Cheese in their restaurant and it was pretty good as we are vegetarians. The only thing we didn’t like is the garbage policy. Apart from that, it was perfect.

This place positions itself as a cozy remote place to relax from everything and everyone in somewhat wild conditions. And to some extent it is so. The place is located at some distance from the main road, there are campgrounds and mini-houses including several domes, giving you real privacy. There is an exit to the ocean shore. And even the very appearance of the territory and the main house create a feeling of some rural disorder in a good meaning of that word.
