We are a countertop fabricator that provided tops for Jerry/The Cabinet Cottage back in July 2015. Jerry selected the wrong color for the top so we re-made the top for him. We were never paid for the job. All total, this was a $430.30 invoice. We tried numerous times to collect to no avail. It was finally turned over to a collection agency but even that has been unsuccessful. I would never recommend this company to anyone for anything. Horrible! Lie after lie from Jerry. Took 7 weeks instead of 3 and still not done. He walked away because I wouldn't trust him and followed up with vendors personally and I wouldn't give him more money. Started out ok, then turned bad. .. beware! Any rebuttal to this will undoubtedly be full of untruths, I'm a reasonable person who was taken advantage of.
Our contract was not fulfilled and supposedly the Cabinet Cottage was closed December 31st, 2015. Jerry Burgess was/is not an honest man. He left our job unfinished but did send an email stating everything he wouldn't complete. 2 of the people working for him on our job landed behind bars during the process. The Cabinet Cottage started our kitchen the week of Thanksgiving. We are now in a new year and still it is not completed and anything else will be at our dime per his email. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE....They have ruined my summer. They wanted to bid on the installation of the cabinets that I purchased else where. That was my big mistake. They made all these promises to get the job and did not follow through. I had 3 different electricians, which I had to go over details each time a different came in on the job, never finished it, took out present plumbing, never reinstalled and never came back.
