Cafe is dimly lit in daytime, menus are worn, hard to read on dark stock, food tasted as if garlic butter had been used on everything. Was looking forward to eating there but was badly disappointed. Cafe and food need improving.
The food quality was really bad!! Never had such bad fries, probably they were refried in old oil or something! And French toast too, they claim they have made the bread but it’s so bad. And the place needs cleaning too, seats and table seems pretty badly maintained. Also the ketchup and pepper shakers were so dirty to hold. Came here to experience an old country dining but did not expect this.
I wish I'd taken a photo of my food before I devoured it but I wasn't intending to leave a review. If you're considering stopping in, do it! The food was PHENOMENAL! I don't know what magic the veggies were coated in, but I'll take another serving please. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome! We'll definitely be back.

We are local and have enjoyed this cafe for years, especially the Eggs Benedict. It has new ownership and unfortunately, it has fallen apart. The food is not very good anymore, the decor is poor and staff are inattentive. Sad to lose our favourite cafe.
