Stopped looking for a specialty item, was told they could do it but it would be a few weeks probably. They gave me a sample of something similar to my request and told me to try it as they really wanted me to order. We took it home and cooked it up and man it was slap your momma good!! Returned 3 days later for a gift box for Christmas gift and ordered my custom cut stuff!! The owner, Mark, is the nicest guy! My husband and I stopped into his shop on our first day living in Traverse City about a week ago and I can’t even begin to explain how welcome he made us feel. Between stuffing a few extra packages of jerky in our bag to keep us fed while unpacking, to walking us through all his made-with-love products available, he has earned longtime business from us.
